ALWAYS DIAL 911 IN CASE OF EMERGENCY Be sure to sign up for CodeRed; see info at the link below.

Plan and Prepare for Disasters. Preparedness is defined by DHS/FEMA as "a continuous cycle of planning, organizing, training, equipping, exercising, evaluating, and taking corrective action in an effort to ensure effective coordination during incident response." If an emergency occurs in Lake Wildwood, Nevada County’s First Responders are the first and direct-line-of-communication to the Community. This direct-line-of-communication best practice allows the First Responders more time to respond while providing LWA Members the fastest and most accurate information available.

The Emergency Preparedness and Fire Risk Reduction documents linked below have been compiled by the LWA Public Safety Committee, LWA Ad Hoc Fire Risk Reduction Committee, Security Dept., and public assistance agencies for Lake Wildwood emergency response.
