I  was born and raised in Lake Forest, Illinois and attended Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.  I spent a year as a Flight Attendant for Eastern Airlines, where I met and married my husband, Don.  We found our way to Lake Wildwood in 1979 and have watched it grow and flourish for 28 years.   We raised our three daughters in Lake Wildwood, and one has purchased a home here where she and her husband are raising their daughter.

As a member of the Nevada County Civil Grand Jury for five years (one as Secretary and two as Foreman Pro-Tem), I found myself to be an able mediator and consensus builder.  I formerly served on the Area 4 Agency on Aging Advisory Council, which serves as the principal advocate body for funding of programs and services for older persons in a seven county area (Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, Sierra, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuba).

Since my family and I have enjoyed Lake Wildwood for so many years, it seems only natural for me to try to give something back to my community by serving as a member of the Board of Directors.
