Our garden club is comprised of over 50 members of our community who love to learn more about the flowers, trees, plants, birds and wildlife of our incredible surroundings.
We meet the second Tuesday of each month (except for July and August) at 1:00 pm in the Marina Recreation Room. Throughout the year, we enjoy presentations from local experts such as the Nevada County Master Gardeners, Native Plant Society, nurseries, flower shops, and herbalists. We also love touring gardens and taking wildflower walks. Watch for our monthly meeting and program announcements in the weekly LWW “Bits and Pieces.”
| Our dues are $10 a year. Since our main objective is to bring color to our LWW and Penn Valley communities, we use most of our funds for various beautification projects. On an on-going basis, we are responsible for maintaining a plot of land directly behind the main gate on Lake Wildwood Drive. Garden Club members work in teams to keep the plot a beautiful floral welcome for all residents and visitors. |

Lake Wildwood Garden Club
Spring has arrived and so has our new Garden Club sign in our garden plot by the front gate behind the club house events

Look over our 2007 schedule below and please plan to attend the events we have planned.
